The Driver Store is a secure location on your PC where the Windows operating system stores driver packages. DriverStore Explorer (a.k.a. RAPR) lets you easily access the Driver Store so that you can view and manage everything that’s in it. You’ll see list of driver packages and you’ll get to add new driver packages, install new drivers, and delete driver packages.

DriverStore Explorer doesn’t need to be installed. To get started with this application, you must download an archive, extract its contents, and then run Rapr.exe. Please note that you must run Rapr.exe as an admin. Starting DriverStore Explorer in non-admin mode means that access to certain features will be disabled (see the Quick Look video that accompanies this article).

This application’s interface is made up of two elements. A big list that presents all the items stored in your PC’s Driver Store, and a panel on the right hand side that conveniently presents the following features: refresh the aforementioned list, add a driver package, install a driver, delete a driver package, force delete a driver package, select old drivers only.

Right click a listed driver package and the context menu will bring up the following options: select, select all, select old drivers, delete, and export.

DriverStore Explorer is free software.

Do you know what’s inside your PC’s Driver Store? Thanks to the free and portable DriverStore Explorer (a.k.a. RAPR), you can easily find out. Not only does it list every driver package in the Driver Store, it also lets you delete and add new driver packages.

Pros

DriverStore Explorer doesn’t need to be installed and that means you can put it on your USB stick for example and take it with you anywhere. DriverStore Explorer lists all the driver packages stored in the Driver Store. You can use DriverStore Explorer to delete driver packages, add new driver packages, and install drivers. DriverStore Explorer is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of.
